The left image is from a poultry farm in the USA, (where birds are commonly featherless due to stress and disease).The right image is of cats (regular house cats like you might have) in Korea awaiting slaughter for meat and fur (which is often then sold to garment makers that produce products for the US.)

Chicken tastes better than cat.
As Quentin Tarantino once wrote, "A dog has personality." And to be fair I have known several 4H friends over the years who mourned a chicken or cow.

Because certain animals are more compassionate and some are better tasting. Cats and Dogs are more compassionate, and I imagine with all the running and moving, their meat would be tough.

I do believe in eating meat, but I also believe that the food industry of today is devilish. This is a prime example.

I actually cried...
The truth, it hurts. But what can we do? We have always lived off by eating other animal? I, wanted to be a vegie but, my family make me eat meat, and even laugh at me when I try to eat only vegetable and fruit. I couldn't cry then but when I stepped into my room, tears started running down my face.
We kill so we could live. That's just not fair. But we have to live on. Live on, build a community,so we could change the world. But we ended up destroying it. Look at the world we are living in, a mess. Global warming, Pollution, Population overgrowing,... But, we don't suffer alone. No, not alone at all.

It's culturally normal for strict Muslims in places like Saudi Arabia to beat their wives on a regular basis or even kill them if they are too far out of line. Does this invalidate the pain and suffering that all women feel from such treatment?
