This month's Fanart Friday piece was requested by Lisa from Patreon! She requested The Tick and his sidekick Arthur the Moth! These guys are really something waaaay out of my usual style and subjects but it was refreshing to try something new for once rather than my usual cutesy anime-ish stuff. xD
This was actually the 2nd fanart friday request of a series I had never heard of before xD (the 1st time was Phantasy Star) Though I think i was aware of its existence, but it was a bit before my time. From what I heard, this was supposed to be a superhero spoof show (though i could probably assume from their silly looking costumes xD) so I kept a more simple toony look to them haha

well a bit of corrective CRITISISM there that of course ANT MAN is of course as everybody knows with marvel comics. To which he got his powers from an ant suit created by the original owner HANK PIM to which his son was A THIEF named SCOTT PIM. in order to communicate with said ant bugs of any kind
Which yeah he had the power to shrink and all . to where it always felt a bit WAY TO OFFBEAT to gave called the guy GIANT MAN when those guys are two completely different marvel heroes. When we all lnow ant man can still grow huge
AS MY IDEA WAS CONFIRMED LEGIT during "CAPTAIN AMERICA CIVIL WAR"
and now over to the other charscter . believe it or not its been nearly over a decade that our rather "DEADPOOLISH" LIKE TRUE BLUE HERO THATS WAY BETTER THAN DEADPOOL IMO. MADE HIS DEBUT IN THE 90'S
ON THE FOX KIDS NETWORK BREAKING MORE WALLS WITH HIS MOUTH AND ACTIONS than somebody with a freaking wrecking ball . from celebrities,superheroes and the works
HIS SUIT WAS LIKE "SUPERMANS" TOTALLY BULLETPROOF so that every bullet shot off the dang thing. Would eventually cause the bullets to bounce off and make the bad guys KILL THEMSELVES . A LEAP COOLER THAN THE INCREDIBLE HULK FROM THE HULK TOONS . A PIMP SLAPPER THAT WOULD REFERANCE "ONE PUNCH MAN" OF THE ANIME that it knocked a guy STRAIGHT THROUGH A WALL IN ONE SLAP , there was nothing this true blue guy could never do.
But only in the 90's on fox kids was it MORE LESS TONED DOWN WITHOUT THE "MASSIVE NUMBER OF TOTAL F BOMBS" DROPPED IN THE ENTIRE THING. where as AMAZON PRIME TV NEVER CARED . to basically give THE TICK A MORE NITTIER GRITTIER "R RATING" OF A SHOW where 4th walls are broken always and MASSIVE SWEAR BOMBS come outta all directions from the ENEMIES HE FACES
though I vaguely remember who his sidekick was as well as other heroes and villains of the series myself . as I too used to collect the characters

Definitely an interesting cartoon, I didn't get to see much of it; though there were definitely a few funny moments here and there from what I did catch.
Awesome work on the super hero "look" and ascetic, the bright colors with shading look fantastic, and I like the comic book like action "whoosh" that is the background.
