For this month's Fanart Friday, Samurai Jack was requested by Nomads-of-Korsun ! This cartoon was one of the coolest shows when I was a kid
It had this more quiet, cinematic, mature edge to it in contrast to most of the fast paced, kiddish cartoons on Cartoon Network at the time. Not to mention the backgrounds and staging are super gorgeous. So I'm excited to hear about it coming back on Adult Swim this year 8DUsually when I do these fanart peices, I like to try experimenting with the original style, but since I'm not too good at mimicing 'cut-out' style that well, I kinda went with my own style here :'D I'll need to work on mastering that style one day haha xD

I love how you've brought Jack to life in this picture. He looks as if he has no care in the world as Aku is about to try and grab him. I have both the original series on video and the original comic book series. I can't get enough of Jack, one of my original superheroes.
Say, if you have time can you do one of The Tick and his sidekick Arthur?

Aw thanks dude! I didn't watch Jack too much until I got a bit older, then i could appreciate more of its aesthetics, then it became one of my fav shows xD

The Music, storytelling, animation, lighting(yes I said correctly), and voice actors made this show AMAZING. Although it won't be the same without the original Aku voice actor
