Description This was the start of me trying to make my fanart look more like it could come from the anime, but I still had so much to learn and was still very far away from having Photoshop.

Somewhere in my mind I decided it would be rather sweet if Jessie & James had somehow met at some point soon after James had run away from his parents and Jessiebelle, and Jessie had gone searching for something better than her life as a poor orphan.

I really wanted an excuse to draw them as kids together, so I came up with my own excuse. ^^

Thank you! This was made because of an idea I had at one point, that during one of the times that James ran away from home, he came across Jessie's hometown and met her for a short time. But eventually his parents caught up to him again and took him back to the mansion and he didn't meet Jessie again until PokeTech. Or at least I think it went something like that. ^^

OMG that's so cute! Seeing them like that just made me think of something... What if there was a Pirates of the Caribbean! That would be so weird! You're welcome. It just came to me when I saw them in the picture. I was thinking of it because Elizabeth and Will met when they were kids and Jessie and James look like kids in the picture. But its just a thought I just thought it'd be a cute story
