Description

A patrol of drow acolytes of the city state of Negeémiliel in their ceremonial armors: the group is composed of four acolyte soldiers and an accolytal subofficer.

Done by a challenge made by ~KO-Corral , so I redrawed an old pic. Tried to retain the lame, lame composition and designs of the characters of that pic.

The characters of that old pic where Auril, Divoÿn, Quilintha, Milvais and Xuunera.

Years later, the story of Auril -or elements of her story- will be divided among the character of ~animal-delos Maylara Maltree, Achie Ach'Hast and the childhood of General Dahl'Arak.

Divoÿn lost the D of her name and her mixed drow-hake dark elf ancestors, but remained in personality the same.

Quilintha Quarra was one to change less, but she had back then even poorer background, being her family artisans, and she had an elder sister who trained as well to be acolyte, but failed and dissapeared in the surface.

Milvais was Milvais, but then she was as well the subofficer in charge of the group.

Xuunera was an expert swordwoman and officer, but few other of her characteristics became a part of Captain Xuunera Lo'Kee, aside of her name.

So they were more harmless than orcs right ?

They allow someone normal person to join in their travels maybe ?

Shabazik In reply to grisador [2015-10-24 15:35:54 +0000 UTC]

Depend of the orcs, depend of the drows!

But being a trading city, they escort traders crossing their territories -for taxes!-

Think I'll just sit back in the underbrush and watch this crew go by.  Then get back to town and the nearest brothel.

entiendo la desnudez como cultura... pero ahora dudo ¿como es la ropa civil? ¿como es la de los hombres? ¿como es la ropa ritual?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Shabazik In reply to Mel--kun [2012-12-06 02:19:05 +0000 UTC]

Bueno. De lo que puedan! !

Mel--kun In reply to Shabazik [2012-12-06 09:53:30 +0000 UTC]

dale

Shabazik In reply to Mel--kun [2012-12-06 18:20:01 +0000 UTC]

Quilintha is really cute here! Do we have a chance to learn more about her older sister? Now, while Quilintha is traveling across the oceans and continents on the surface, is it possible that she will meet her sister there?

Why Auril has a different color of skin? She also seems to be taller than Milvais. She is big!

And what a beautiful Xuunera the swordswoman, who is of course just a homonym of Xuunera Lo'Kee! Her appearance is totally different.

Shabazik In reply to Billie-Bonce [2012-09-29 17:33:30 +0000 UTC]

Many thanks!

There is a chance to learn about her older sister -maybe sometime!-
But it is that, while she was reported death, she really dissapeared! !

Auril it's a big drow lady, because she is as well a bit of Hake -surface, blue dark elf-, and the hakes are somewhat taller than the drows. :3

And yes: this Xuunera the Swordwoman is rather different from Xuunera Lo'Kee! She have curly hair, and use it in a more "femenine" way than Lo'Kee... as well, she doesn't have her distincitive nose! X3

Billie-Bonce In reply to Shabazik [2012-09-29 19:44:14 +0000 UTC]

But we also know that Quilintha is alive while she and her friends also probably were reported as dead. Right?

Seriously, I miss them... I understand that you simply have no time for them now - the same way as I have no time for my poor elves or equally poor Alya the Unlucky. But sometimes I'm afraid that you lost interest in them...

Shabazik In reply to Billie-Bonce [2012-09-30 03:48:02 +0000 UTC]

very right!

The problem with them is not that I lost interest in them... but interest in Maylara story, and I need to finish that one to continue with the drow trio. XO!

Billie-Bonce In reply to Shabazik [2012-09-30 13:50:03 +0000 UTC]

Ouch...

And what the problem with Maylara story? Her creator gives you no freedom? I remember that he was very picky about anything related to Maylara, even when I dared to like Laeh'le more than May

But afterwards I liked Maylara too, mostly thanks to your efforts - you depict her really nice. She is very young on drow measures, she is much younger than Laeh'le, and despite she is tall and busty, she is not so much older than Lo'Kee's older daughter. She got unusual skills that makes her a valuable agent, she is cocky as teenager but at the same time she is shy and unexperienced, she had enough of love and care in family and too much of hate and insults from neighbors and coevals. With her color of skin, her home village is hostile land for her, and dark and scary underworld which she tries to leave as soon as possible is actually a homeland to those who look like her. In fact, she is a derelict, and she is too young to deal with it. She is really a dramatic character.

I would be more interested to see the development of Maylara's character than to see her as a superhero preventing one coup d'etat in Negeémiliel and providing another one... And of course, I wouldn't believe that she is able to do it all and simply leave.

Anyway, I'd like to see what will happen next...
