A christopherian halftrack. Old drawing done I don't remember when, but that I added digitally some greyscale.

it was done during a class as a bored-doodle.

The grey scale really makes it look nice and distinguished. : ] Half tracks are my favorite vehicle type of WWII. It's so out of the ordinary and barely - if ever - used after the first half of the century.

Thanks!

Half tracks where very interesting vehicles!!

Did you know that the last half-track done was designed by Carlos Cardoen for the Chilean army in the 80s?

I "love" these vehicles that have no protection for the soldiers or driver from enemy fire or even the weather!Β  They don't even seem that great to haul supplies, they just haul a big gun!Β  Useful for blasting out guerilla fighters, but they could all be killed by an enemy sniper first!Β  Killed and the gun--and halftrack--captured!

yep, but that sort of was the design of many vehicles, one could say! :3
