Oh, the technical - just ASKING for a rocket right into it's side so all those dummies in the back fly into the air. XD It must be terrible to be on the cheap side of the war. I'd just take to foot... those things are a deathtrap. XD

(I don't even need to say the art is nice. You know it. I know it. We're past that point. XD )

Deathtraps are death trappy.

.____.

And yeah... being in the cheap side of war (aka: everybçody else but USA) sucks... and if the creators of games really wanted to do a challenging first person shooter, maybe they should try doing one where one plays as Taliban, somali, iraki insurgent or anybody else: because in games, is very unfair all the technology the USA have. Worse in reality! XD

Анархія - мать порядка! ("Anarchy is a mother of order" - a motto of Russian anarchists, the origin attributed to Proudhon)

"Anarchy is a mother of order"? :3? really an interesting, but dificult to interpretate -and even understand by the ones who say it?- motto, with soo many possible ramifications!

... of order, or of discipline... hard to say. The original phrase was in French, and there were more words.

The ideas of anarchy were popular in first years after the revolution in Russia, but after using the anarchists as allies against the White army and the intervention, the Bolsheviks simply killed them

Anarchism was very popular in a global scale in the end of the XIX century and early XX, and it was very romanticed and idealized...

It seems thought, they allways end being allies with the comunists, but just long enough before killing each other, like in the Russian revolution, spanish civil war, or even in more obscure and lost nations, like Chile in the 1910's-1930's

You gotta love the guy who is riding on the sideboard. Hit one pothole and he's flying up and might not land back on the sideboard safely!

Yeah, not his wisest life choice XD

but maybe is that the truck is stopping and that he is jumping from the vehicle to check something? !

Could be. He does look like he's about to step off. On the other hand, the truck does seem to be rather full for that. (hit a mine, or get hit by an rpg--a whole lot of dead mercenaries!)

But yeah, I did something just as dangerous. For the lack of a Cotter pin, I stood on an unsecured bolt holding a trailer to the back of a truck for a couple miles. And, of course, having too many passengers is not an unusual problem!

always wondered why they call them technicals

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Shabazik In reply to TMC-Art [2012-02-07 19:57:55 +0000 UTC]

Wikipedia say:

"The term technical describing such a vehicle originated in Somalia in the early 1990s. Barred from bringing in private security, non-governmental organizations hired local gunmen to protect their personnel, using money defined as "technical assistance grants". Eventually the term broadened to include any vehicle carrying armed men
