Made when I was doing a class -XD I'm a horrible teacher-...well, more specific, when the students where doing an excercise! I promise!
ANYWAY!
These are muslim Kanovs from the Caliphate of Iperto, In Aels, during the Middle Human Age of Hegemony, in my fantasy world.
(The Kanov are a race of humans, that lived across Aels and eastern Zarhuy, and where converted by the Bazik humans to the Islam).
The equipment of them is somewhat bassed in Central asia (Kazakstan, Uzbezikstan, the JazarΓ³s, etc) muslim soldiers, from the XV or XVI century, I believe. :3

I'm adding this to my favorites! It will be a visual inspiration to show what 15 minutes of dedication can accomplish! Under close examination there are some irregularities, some 'squares' of armor strips were narrower than the rest, same with some shield 'bolts'. Even so, that you cranked this out in the time of a break just astonishes me!

Students eh? Never let them see you sweat! Good for you that you can use your knowledge and inspiration to instruct others!
I'm really impressed that you cranked this art out during a study period! The figures and impressive enough in a short time--but all those little lines to be drawn for the armor are an enormous effort! Especially in that the lines are so regular with little visible over-variance! Did you do the armor details after class when you had more time?
Also--those shields look heavy!

I made this drawing in a time of 15 minutes, or less, as they where answering about the Golden Horde and the Khanats, as well the european view of the world in the XIV century! XD
But doing these armors isn't specially slow...one must be systematic, thought! XD

But recently, aside from taking classes, a Professor from teh University asked me to be his helper, so I make once in a week, classes of Formation of the Hispano-american / Luso-American society...
The funny things are:
-1.-They are from my same age, and academic level XD
-2.- due my mighty moustache, they believe I'm so much older, than even when some are older than me, they call me "Mr. Profesor"! XD
("My" alumns are students of Pedagogy, to become teachers... and I am a student of History. :3)
