Description
Some orc wanderers in the ashlands, at the feet of Mount Dol'Nur.
Before the arrival of the Demon Lords, many of the green orc clans and tribes from the lowlands of Polforias where nomadic hunter-gatherers or shepherders, while where the hill tribes of green orcs the ones who had settled down, becoming shepherders. As the Demons arrived and recruited the orcs to their service, the green orcs of the lowlands would progressively be settled in the cities and fortresses of the demons, having to leave their habits.
However, many orcs never abandoned the wanderlust of their ancestors. Some returned to a nomadic livestyle after the First War of the Power and the defeat of the demons. Others kept living in settlements, but wasn't uncommon for many orcs to take the paths of Polforia.
Some would become raiders and bandits, infamous among the Polforian States of the Outregam -the human and elven settlements in the former empire of the Demons-, but as well merchants, pilgrims or simple travellers.
