You have no idea how much it means to me. It used to be a dream of mine, back when I started here on dA. I'm so happy that a piece I can be so proud of got this honor! This is simply amazing! 
A Japanese styled watercolour painting commissioned by of the Creation Trio.
I must admit that if it wasn't for this commission I'm not sure at all if I would've gotten around to do a piece with Dialga, Palkia and Giratina together. I always thought their designs would be too much of a challenge or a stretch to convert into Japanese styled creatures. True, it was a challenge, but with all the previous research and experience in this style it wasn't bad at all. Giratina's design was already done so that was the easy part. Dialga's design was inspired by qilin since they share a similar form and Palkia was mostly just a mix and match of things because it has even weirder anatomy than Dialga. I swear, I gotta do a proper Palkia study and perhaps a semi-realistic design some time to at least try to make some sense of it. I was also really inspired to do Arceus in this style as well. Maybe later!
Anyway, I'm personally very happy with how this one turned out. It was so much fun to work on a painting like this! God I love working with traditional stuff. There was a really special feel to this, too.

P.S. Finnish people can expect to see this as a print at conventions I'm going to attend, with the permission of the commissioner.

Whoa, nice work! I think palkia's the coolest here. It's probably my least favourite of the three in terms of design, as I kind of find it to be the least inspired, and I'd say you made great use of all that room for improvement. This thing just looks epic, that mohawk fin/mane and that fierce, sneering expression almost remind me of a fearsome boar ready to charge. Not to mention the return of those killer come-at-me claws, this thing looks epic. I really like how you expanded on the aquatic feel of palkia, which is kind of only barely touched on in its official appearance. The carp-fin-shaped wings extending from those seafoam-looking curls is a brilliant touch, plus the way that pearl radiates and bursts with energy that forms bolts shaped like crab claws, this thing's really got all the bang for its buck when it comes to being a sea dragon. And the way it stands on those pouring, rushing waves like it ain't no thing, you've really made it look cool.
Dialga's looking pretty good too with the deerish hooves and coral-esque features. I kind of miss the incorporation of clock hands it had going on in its original design, but I can see why it doesn't have it, considering the style. In any case, it's looking cool against that big disc, which gives a good dial/clock feel which fits the dragon of time nicely. As for giritina, what can I say that I haven't already said about your giratina drawings? Super cool black, stormy clouds/smoke, and this one's tummy patterns kind of make me think of a milk snake (though the pattern is more like a coral snake's), so that's pretty cool. Nice job on these dragons from the islands up north!

Palkia turned out surprisingly well. It's also a bit meh for me as well but I think that kind of made me put more thought into the design process. That and the fact that it didn't really have a very straightforward counterpart in Japanese art or mythology.
Dialga's "clock hands" weren't really stylistically fitting so I had to edit them a bit. But good to hear you think the circle makes up for it! That's kind of what I aimed, to create some reference to the element of time.
And Giratina is always such a pleasure to draw.

Sorry, I would rather not allow the use of my artwork for purposes like this. One of the reasons is that many of my pieces, this one for example, are commissioned artwork or something created for a specific purpose. Even if the art's use would be non-profit I feel a bit iffy about letting people use artwork that someone has paid for. I hope you understand.

That vastly depends on what kind of picture you have in mind. Here's my commission info that has basic prices for the most common pieces I do.

No, it's not the egg of Arceus. It was an element that was inspired by Roar of Time, or rather, the shape of it. Roar of Time resembles ripples on water, at least in my opinion. The other backgrounds are also inspired by the signature moves of each Pokemon, as well as their element. Dialga's bg is more solid and uniform than the others for that reason.
