Description I drew this from a photograph of one of my own geckos. This little one doesn't have a name yet; it's only half grown, but I think it's female.

Anyway...sorry for only half of the gecko being there. The image is from a sketchbook.

It looks a bit chubbier than my Gargoyle Gecko.. But mine's probably younger, and tailess! Do you know how long those things take to grow back? And he never seems hungry, should I just give him some baby food? Sorry, he just puzzles me, haha.

gargoyles are notoriously picky eaters...I feed a good half of mine by hand, as they won't touch the CGD otherwise. I'd avoid baby food if you can, but maybe add just a touch to the CGD and try offering it again.

As for tail growth...that's a good question! I bought one in October with about a half an inch long tail in the process of regrowing. I'd say it's grown at least an inch and is getting close to full length right now. It probably depends on how much the gecko is eating etc.

Yeah, it's seems like is tail has grown a little (barely) since I've gotten it.

I have been feeding it baby food, it'll eat a little, I can tell it doesn't enjoy it too much.
What exactly is CGD? Could I find it in a local grocery store?

CGD is crested gecko diet, a formulated powder diet for Rhacodactylus species, and a much healthier diet than sugar laden baby food. Its usually available at petstore chains such as Petco and Petsmart.

Very nice work. I think I background would take away from the gecko. I like it how it is. How long did it take?

Wow! If I tried something like that it would probably take 5-6 MONTHS!

The details are amazing , you made good use of pen and pencil on this piece, the only thing that would have made this better would be a background
