The next day, Nora was in her room, reading a letter from the Grand Master. Apparently, her cousin Amanda had delivered a report to the Northern Kingdom of what happened thanks to Krystal. For that reason, the king was able to write a letter to the representative of the Guardian Order, who then used magic to send a message to Grand Master Octavio Spearhead.

The contents of the message was the obvious one: the king was angry and only the fact that Nora decided to stop the mission once she learned who the alleged spy was avoided any problems. In short, the king demanded an explanation, an apology and assurances that such a thing did not happen again.

What a mess. Thought Nora. To think I was about to hurt my own cousin!

Then she sighed. “Cousin Amanda, wherever you are, I hope you can forgive me for this mess!”
