Nora gasped. She didn’t expect to hear the voice of her cousin. Shocked, she rose her head and realized Amanda was right in front of her!

“Amanda?” Asked Nora. “What are you doing here?”

Amanda sighed. “I was asked to leave the Northern Kingdom since I failed my mission. Don’t worry, I’m kind of glad I left. The place was becoming a nest of vipers since new nobles came into power in the Northern Kingdom’s High Council and resented the fact I was born in the Red Empire.”

“Answering your question, I came to live here since I have friends and family here. And talking about family, I see you as an elder sister, Nora. I never doubted you were innocent on this mess. Actually, I was worried for you, since I was born in the Red Empire and I know what kind of vipers live there, including in the Guardian Order!”

Nora smiled. “I’m fine. The Grand Master is still thinking in a fitting punishment for Fabio, but he assures me he’ll receive one.”

Amanda let out a big sigh. “That’s good to know! Well, do you mind if we share a hug, cousin?”

Nora laughed. “Sure! I can use one right now!”
