A few weeks ago

With the trailer pulling out of site Sean already missed his dappled Thoroughbred. He knew Ammo would be in good hands at Beaumont, and that he'd have many new tricks when he came back, but it still stung. Granted, this would give Sean some time to devote more attention to Rina, but it didn't mean he wouldn't miss her sire.
"Mom," Sean signed, "We should do something really special for Beaumont." Caroline nodded and they discussed ideas well into the evening.

Present day

It had taken them a while to decide on what horse they wanted to commission a painting of. When Blackbird Fantasy was suggested there was no doubt however that he should be the one featured. He was one of Beaumont's finest horses and deserved a tribute.
Sean was truly an artist, both a photographer and painter, so after finding a couple suitable reference pictures he had started work. The end result, everyone agreed, was breathtaking.
