"With leadership comes great responsibility, and very few lions are capable of ruling without being corrupted by darker feelings. In every single patrol he walked through, he left a little bit of his soul, hardly looking back. Days turned to weeks, weeks turned to months, months turned to years. Seasons seemed to fly by for a King that suddenly found himself father to many children, though having lost many on the way. His father.. his beloved Queen, Nyesha. However, he hoped that in some way, his spirit would live forever within those who remembered him. For it is in every leader's desire to be remembered. However, he didn't hope to be remembered for his greatness or for his title, but for the lion he was. A barbary, the proud firstborn son of King Cairo and Queen Feleti, father to many, mate to a few, friend to everyone who desired to be one. My King, My Lord, Your Majesty, Sir.. but in the very end of the road, he was only Xian."Well, his time as King is ticking away, it seems. I've been Role-Playing this character for almost two years.. and though Shahila is my nickname and all, I've grown very attached to this character. As far as IC chars go, he's my most developed creation and I can't be anymore proud of him. It is sad to think he might step down as King sometime soon, but with a new year comes a new King ... Thankfully, as mentioned above, he'll be around to be the friend everybody always looks for, and the father his children need.

Love the colors and the pose of the lion. He seems very sad and the effect of that aura around him is a nice touch.

No worries. ^-^ There are a lot of artists who have their style like the one used in The Lion King. Mine started out like that, though if you ask me it's still rather different. It DOES have an air of the Lion King, but only because it's a lion. XD Lol. You should look into the lionking.fanart archive, and you'll see there's absolutely nothing unnoriginal about people who draw lions.
