Well.. this is one of my first real attempts of true non-cartoonish realism; a white lion. I decided to start from a pale character without so much colors and tones to try, but it still was a challenge in it's own ways, seeing all the colors I had to blend with the fur.Anyway, done in Open Canvas (linework, main colors, eyes.. everything but the blending of the mane, for which I used Photoshop CS's smudge tool.. then re-touched the hairs in OC again). I have to say.. I'm very proud of this piece, yes.
This picture is done for , as a Gift (I owed her, of course!) and well.. as a way to thank her for all the times she's been there for me, yes. *snoogzy*
