I just had this epiphany...
Cat's eyes have full color around the pupil, they don't have white like us. Do you purposely leave the white or no?

Oh hell, I love the eyes on this piece! I've always had a fascination with phonips of eyes, and even just close-ups of them. The one in the light caught my eye the moment I saw this in my previews, and I was clapping when I saw it in full rez. Impressive work! Any tips you could share? I don't have my copy of Photoshop working at the moment, but I'd love to get some tips anyways.

another great one. claws are always a big thing for me, they are very well done. the nose texture is great and the subtle change of eye shape is awesome. hard to believe you could get the dark eye at all with the original

yeah the dark eye proved to be a bit of a challenge.If you look at the original image you will see that I messed with the levels a bit to lighten that side some so it could be seen and edited easier.but the more I look the more annoyed I am that I put a reflection on the light eye that I left out of the dark because i thought it might be blocked by the nose..but now it looks uneven to me!but you know me, once something is submitted, its done. no goin back!

well i believe every artist would like to change something from previous works. which is why your art has progressed so well. you take what you wanted to fix in a earlier piece and incorporate it into your next masterpiece.

I love this piece! Not only is it deliciously subtle but it's very well done so as to seem quite plausible. There isn't a part of this piece that I don't like but I love how the eyes match even though they are in very different lighting and the texture of the nose.

I saw the picture and knew what I wanted to do with it.. but i was really just messing around with it to see how things would turn out. And much to my delight it came out not so bad! thanks for noticing the little details. that really means alot to me!

The eyes are superb, and the only issue I can see is that the nails, which are really close to the nose as far as distance, are not in the same sharp focus the nose/lips are. VERY slick job on the nose/lips, though.

aww you are so sweet! and id disagree about the skill.. we have two different styles.. I cant do what you do.. i totally suck with full images that tell a story. your pictures are amazing and deep and dark and always seem to have a meaning. You should be proud of that. It isnt an easy feat to accomplish!
