Description This is a recent Vector illustration i drew up for an upcoming Bugdust (Melbourne band) show.

I've always loved creating music posters and strive to better myself with each new design.

This was particularly fun. Vector drawn on my Cintiq, focussing mainly on drawing the left side first... then (as can be quite common with screen print styled poster art) flipping the art to create the right side of the character. Saved on time, and created a nice symmetry!

sorry... i am Egyptian & seeing something like that might create some misunderstanding!!.. but being an art student i understand that some students have new ideas & abstract style they want to present!!..sorry about what i said, i said something that my people would say, but my personal opinion is that you have a great style!! ..sorry didn't mean to offend you or your art or anything

No need to apologise mate. The last thing in the world I would want to do is offend anyones culture. Typically, in a naive way I merely wanted to cross two totally different genres for the curiosity of seeing how they could blend. I really love the colouring, patterns and shapes of Egyptian design. The nature of the poster was for a heavy rock band so I applied darker themes to suite the music. Thanks for touching base to let me know your thoughts. Art is a great way to understand more about people and the world.
