I really like this. It's got a futuristic look while still being realistic. It's even got a takedown switch.

Reminds me of a discription from the RPG game aid, "Guns, Guns, Guns!" Looks perfect for Cyberpunk.

Not to degrade the work or anything, as this is quite the drawing, however, how exactly is a compensator going to work on the slide, and not the barrel? The slide is recoiling and moving back.

The slide unlocking and recoiling action is not an instant response to recoil, especially on a roller delayed system used here (and the Vz.52 whose inspiration in the slide is probably apparent) By the time the breech unlocks and the slide is allowed to recoil the projectile and the majority of the high pressure gasses have exited the muzzle (as is the design and modus operandi for locked breech designs) this high pressure burst of exiting gasses following the projectile is then directed upwards to counter the initial muzzle flip cause by angular momentum and recoil acting on the firers wrist. The majority of Low pressure gasses or gasses emitted behind the initial volume is simply wasted gas volume to begin with (compensator or not) and thus not really of consequence in this instance. This isn't counting the effect of leverage of those initial gas volume coming form a long 'barrel', added slide mass slowing down obturation, or the use of an expansion port in place of a traditional ported barrel.
That being said, as the description reads; "AC went out last night, trying to keep my mind off the heat by drawing." is an environmental situation that does not usually allow me the sort of technical scrutiny I usually focus on in my drawings.
