During the Clone Wars the planet Nelvaan on the Corellian Run in the Savareen sector had been used by General Grievous and the Techno Union under Wat Tambor. Girevous, upon visiting Nelvaan, Grievous was very much impressed by the similarities between the spiritual Nelvaanian warriors and his own Kaleesh people and, in a twisted form of kinship, he intended to make them his 'new elite', harking back to his earlier days as commander of the elite 'Izvoshra' soldiers of his people's Kolkpravis warrior band. It was General Grievous who thus lured the male Nelvaanian soldiers of the Rokrul village away from their tribe by making them believe he was the Nelvaan mythology's prophesied figure in order to conduct, via Skakoan Combat Engineers using 'unique microelectronics', a crude cybernetics experiment upon their bodies. But the perverse mutation project was ultimately sabotaged by Anakin Skywalker. However the rivaling Kurzot village nearby had seen with their scouts what had happened and when they attacked the Rokrul after the Jedi had left again, they were weak and easy targets. Glad and proud of this victory, the leading warrior Tskavoz still had recognized in the fight that the Rokrul had gotten much bigger and stronger, so he sought to find the mythical source of their power in the area of the former Separatist base. There he found Grievous, Skakoan Combat Engineers and Battle Droids scavenging the ruins to see if some of their former research could still be saved, rescued or recreated. When the Nelvaanian told them what he was here for, General Grievous soon realized they had another opportunity to conduct the experiment and create a new elite guard and force of warriors for him. This time however the strengthening by microelectronic cybernetics would be limited, as well as the cybernetics to keep this volunteer warriors in a much clearer state of mind and control then during the last experiment that had shocked, enraged and frightened the unwilling participants, as Grievious hoped this way he would get better results.

In the End Tskavoz became a microelectronic cyberengineered Nelvaanian Cyborg alongside his warriors and scouts in service of the Confederacy of Independence Systems in hope his tribe would be able to rule the other rivaling Nelvaanian tribes and their whole world by doing so. While in service of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Tskavoz was equipped with a electronica spear and a shield that was made up of Phrik to allow him to withstand even lightsaber blows and blasterfire, while able to stun, or kill his enemies himself. Similar to the Quarren laser spears this weapon produced by the Quarren Isolationists and the Techno Union allowed him to wield a small lightsaber blade/ knife at the tip of the spear, as well as fire like a blaster. At the same time his own cybernetic arm claw allowed to shoot a much larger, more devastating blast at the enemy, able to pierce even the biggest infantry and tank armor the Republic had to offer. Under command of the Nelvaanian Captain Tskavoz his cybernetic Nelvaanian warriors and reprogrammed battle droids were given much more individual freedom to use cover, guerrilla warfare, traps and faster running outside the standardized Droid Battle formations, making even the battle droids behave more like tribal warriors, something that took quit a few Clone Troopers and their Jedi Commander off-guard, leading to their defeat. During the Outer Rim Sieges Nelvaanian Captain Tskavoz served in a number of battles but despite some victories he soon faced the problem that more and more of his Nelvaanian warriors and scouts fell in battle, shrinking his numbers until he decided to reanimate the fallen in a even more cybernetic form, often with battle droid brains taken up their control as often the original Nelvaanian heads had been destroyed or damaged during the fighting. This earned the Nelvaanian Captain Tskavoz and his forces the Nickname of the Nelvaanian Mummies, resurrected dead warriors. While frightening and quit efficient in battles, the Nelvaanian Mummies proved quit inefficient when facing long range enemy artillery, planetary orbital bombardment, heavy armored enemy vehicles, massive fighter and bomber supported enemy forces or sheer overwhelming numbers of Clone Troopers facing them.
