Another type of Separatist Ugly, was a mix of the Munificent or Banking Clan frigate and the Recusant-Class light destroyer/ support destroyer, also known as the Commerce Guild Destroyer, build by Hoersch-Kessel Drive, Inc., Free Dac Volunteers Engineering Corps and Gwori Revolutionary Industries, the so called Remu Class as the name suggested, was a mix between the two ship types. Build on the base of the Recusant-class itself and upgraded with parts of the Munificent Class this ship type cost between 80 and 120 million credits. The overall length of 1,187 or 2,544 meters, width of 157 meters remained, while the height increased to 244 meters. With a maximum acceleration 2,800 G, powered by a Class 2,0 Hyperdrive, a Class 12 backup drive and with a hyperdrive range of 90,000 it was a medium ranged ship with a power output of peak 7,73 × 1023 W powered by a Hypermatter annihilator reactor. It had a Hull of 430 (DR 60) which was upgraded with additional hull plating from the Munificent class. The Remu Class was armed with the standard Recusant one Prow heavy turbolaser cannon, 4 Heavy turbolaser cannons, 26 Twin light turbolaser cannons, 6 Heavy turbolaser turrets, 5 Turbolaser cannons, 30 Point-defense dual laser cannons, 20 Light turbolaser turrets, 12 Point-defense dual light laser cannons, 100 Point-defense light laser cannons and eight medium flak guns. 12 to 36 droid starfighters and 12 (or 6 and 6/ 8 and 4, 10 and 2) droid bombers or landing craft/ shuttle as well as two C-9979 or two C-9980 landing craft were also carried. The minimal crew was 400, while up to 1,000 officers, pilots and other enlisted crewman (lifeforms) could also be carried alongside 1,000 additional passangers. Overall 200,000 deactivated battle droids and 50,000 tons cargo capacity could be carried, for aan overall consumable for two years. Used mainly by the Commerce Guild and the InterGalactic banking Clan, not so much the Trade Federation and other Separatist Alliance Conglomerates of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, it served as a Support ship, light warship, destroyer, escort, troop transport, command ship, pocket cruiser, reconnaissance vessel and flagship alike.

Mostly famous because it made the standard Recusant class into a light destroyer and gave the ideas for the later medium and heavy destroyer variants, the ship class was a hasty mixed and put together ugly, often not as reliable as many of it’s commanders and captains would have wished, with heavy hull armor tending to rip apart from the rest of the hull it had been detached upon under to heavy enemy fire after loosing the ship’s shields. Because the additional Banking Clan Frigate hull armor and other parts weren’t an ideal fit many Separatist commanders and captains attempted to use the additional space in between and the abilities of their droid forces to pack even more droid fighters and droid bombers, then the ship original could fit in all it’s hangars, sometimes heavily increasing their numbers to around a hundred. This meant that with a not unique strategy, but one the Republic and Empire did not expect in such a mass from single ships like these, they were able to surprise and overwhelm the enemy fighters and bombers with their own thanks to superior numbers. This way they could swarm the enemies and overwhelm them to bomb their hangars and silence any opposition, something that later became dangerous when many of this Ugly ships became part of the droid uprising and rebellion against all organics in the galaxy. Mostly when the organic crew maintained the bridge and was able to shut down the ship’s hangars, as well as activate all weapons to defend against their former won droid bombers and fighters, these ships not only survived, but remained in the hands of the Confederate Navy to be used against rebelling droids on countless worlds. Seen as a capable and dangerous ships, able to get toe-to-toe on pair with the latest and best models of the late Republic/ early Empire, lice the Venator or Imperial class Star destroyers, they stood no chance against the biggest Super Star Destroyers like Mandator Classes all on their own. Feared by the Republicans and Imperial Loyalists alike the main target of the Remu Class when facing as an enemy was it’s still overly exposed main engines, in an attempt to leave it stranded, so they then could target it from it’s weakest side points in combined fire of their ships, instead of facing the wrath of a massive Remu Class broadside.
