Original part of the Hoersch-Kessel Driveworks Inc. Security Officers, the Nimbanese/ Nimbanel Minsa Gorus like all of her species, was a humanoid warm-blooded reptilian that often were found in service of the Hutt. Hoersch-Kessel Drive, Inc. was a formerly Duros and now Nimbanel owned company which produced the majority of vehicles and ships for the Trade Federation. Because of this Contracts and Assets, Officer Gorus soon was send to serve the Trade Federation and later the Neimoidian Gunnery Battalion as a Captain and later commanded Battle Droids as a captain herself. Her ship, a Recusor Class Cruiser/ Carrier, called Loan Shark was painted to resemble a Karkarodon, as a hommage to her beloved Karkarodon husband Karr Zomtan whom she had lost during the Clone Wars in the Battle of Karkaris. Half her crew was comprised of aquatic or amphibious specie like Karkarodon, Quarren, Aqualish, Mere, Blubreen, Ongree, Patrolian, Selkath, Ishi Tib, as well as a few Gungan, Mon Calamari, Gree, Anguilla, Chagrian, Neelabi, Iskalonian, Qwohog, Tynnan and Vurk. Because of her mixed organic crew and mixed droid forces, including special aquatic variants, the female Nimbanel Commander Minsa Goros partook in battles on nearly all kind of worlds, including the Separatist assault on Kamino. Pushing back Republic forces during the Outer Rim Sieges, up until the Mid Rim and Inner Rim, ultimately forcing the Galactic Republic into a stalemate and later peace with the Galactic Republic. Her wish to utilize the different skills and abilities of the organic forces of different species serving underneath her was what would later safe her and her crew during the Droid Rebellion and Droid Uprising, leading to her ship being spared taken over. This way Captain Gorus and her crew could fight back, soon leading other organic forces in a mixed fleet against those fleets and world taken over by the rampaging battle droids and labor droids. Their flagship Loan Shark would fight of droids and aid not only the Trade Federation, but also the Corporate Alliance and the InterGalactic Banking Clan. In the Northern part of the Galaxy against uprising Droids, as well as remaining pro-Republican and Imperialist rebels, guerrilla and terror groups.

Thanks to their skilled Clone Wars organic veterans, the Loan Shark became a feared flagship, spearheading the Separatist Alliance and Confederacy of Independent Systems Navy that spread death and destruction, as well as fear into the hearts of their enemies. Their ambushes and raids quickly weakened the Battle Droid forces and lured them into further traps, allowing for the Confederacy of Independent Systems to slowly, but steadily retake some of their worlds, or conquer those of the Imperial Remnant. Either Way the Confederacy quickly managed to get their act back together and stop the droid conquest and onslaught of organics throughout their region of the Galaxy. Further more Commander Minsa Gorus had learned to use Karkarodon Swarm Tactics against the Battle Droids, meaning a group of smaller, or less powerful ships of hers would stay close together to protect each other with overlapping shields and combine their weapons to catch up to the numbers of stronger and bigger droid controlled ships by doing so, luring them in by believing they would have an easy victory and then defeating them with superior and more daring organic pilots, some of them even force-sensitive, or force-guided. With combined forces o their army and navy, they liberated all droid infested worlds and changed the Confederate army and navy to mainly cybernetic or cloned organic forces in the process. During this campaigns, Minsa Gorus command role served as an admiral, although never given the title officially and would later chose to rather stay a captain of her own individual ship, as she did not like the role and responsibility of an admiral, even if she would serve as the fleet commander of smaller task forces of ships occasionally from time to time against smugglers, space pirates and other dangers in the Confederate Rim of the Galaxy. At the same time the Galactic Republic and Imperial Remnants attempted to infiltrate the CIS with spies, saboteurs and even hried bounty hunters, mercenaries and space pirates to keep them occupied and weakened after the Clone Wars, as they feared the increasing industrial potential of the Separatist Alliance.
