Description

After the Soren Rebels/ Avidanists had taken over the Remnants of the Rand Protectorate and the Caledonian Federation, they had control over most of Tegalus and the Tegalan. Around 15 to 18 percent of the 5,400,000 Tegalan (810,000 to 972,000) had been dead, missing while roughly twice or triple that number were wounded, injured, homeless or otherwise influenced by the Rand-Caledonian War/ Tegalan World War/ Tegalan Great War, or as the Sorenian Avidanists called it, the Holy Avidan War, which they now also spread trough the Milky Way Galaxy with the Great Ring of Avidan (Stargate), while remaining Rand Loyalists, remnants of the Rand Proectorat mlitary and civilians who had taken up arms against the theocratic rule, as well as Caledonain Loyalists, what was left of the Caledonian Federation and it’s Government after the war, opposed them desperately. While the Tau’ri had helped in the evacuation to new worlds, creating New Caledonia, Ur Oir/ Uroir (New Rand), as well as a united world named Ur Tegalus (New Tegalus), some Tegalan had remained on Old Tegalus, eager to fight the Avidanists, despite the war and Avidanist Sorenist Theocratic Rule leaving little then ruins of most cities, while forcing people into the country site into a more rural life, like the Avidan Gods would have wanted.

This mass deportation, overcrowding in massive farm towns and farmlands was in part responsible for a spike in the death tall thanks to a crippling supply chain in food, which Sorenian Followers of the Avidan claimed was the divine will of the gods to root out the weak, infidel and sinners. Knowing the remaining united Caledonian and Rand civilians and militarist who had formed a united Tegalan High Command and the Untied Tegalus Front against the Avidanist Sorenist had a problematic fight, the Tau’ri feeling responsible not only helped in evacuations to new worlds, but also aided with medicine, food and ultimately even weapons alike. Like on Earth and Bedrosia however, the best weapon against theocratic rule, ideologies and religious fanatics was science, history and the enlightenment that came with it. Knowing that thanks to his own homeworld better then most, the Bedrosian Archaeologist Nyan, research assistant to Daniel Jackson had arrived as head of a joint Tau’ri-Tegalan mission on Tegalus.

His aim was research in the Caledonian Capital of Calydon, as well as throughout it’s history Clydene, Camelia and other names to find historic evidence of the Goa’uld rule on Caledonia which together with Tegalans who had witnessed and learned on former Goa’uld worlds were they had stayed as refugees until fitting new worlds had been, would hopefully provide enough evidence of their own history and that of the Goa’uld to convince most moderate believers of Avidan and Soren’s teachings that the Goa’uld were not true gods and their whole ideology and religion was based on lies and deception. Working in the ancient capital of Camulodonum (Camulus Dunon; Camulus Hillfort/ Stronghold) more precisely under the forts that once had surrounded it and bond together to form fortresses and walls around it later on, the Bedrosian Archaeologist Nyan hoped for the best results, as unlike in the main center city, were centuries and millennia of buildings stood upon one another and had replaced and destroyed each other, the core of these forts, formerly on hills and still on stone wall surrounded elevations was never touched like that and had the most chances of any potential important findings.

While Avidanists and United Tefalan forces fired throughout the former capital city not far from there, he uncovered remnants of Celtic Goa’uld Camulus/ Camulos Boar Jaffa in Trinium Armor, guarding a passageway to a sealed off room, one were they as remnants fo the last capital garrison had held out, in desperate hope their Goa’uld God might return to aid and deliver them, but as the Scottish Gaelic hieroglyphs in this local Fortress Holdout proved, he never would. The text then spoke of the last Jaffa Guards rationing their food, using Kelno’reem meditation and even cannibalizing one another to hold out as ling as possible, until one of them was taken over by his Prim’ta Goa’uld Larvae which in hopes of getting out of this unwilling tomb killed the Jaffa and desperately searched for a way out, only to find that without a Sarcophagus only a slow death awaited the false God down here. Historic evidence and findings ike this would discourage the foundation of Avidanist Sorenist, heavily weakening their movement and later splitting it into the smaller cults and sects of the Cartùche Sect (Cartouche Sect), Teampul Fàinne (Ring Temple/ Temple of the Ring/ Stargate Temple) and Seilg Chult (Chevron Cult), who would fight one another as much as the Tegalan United Front which retook most of (Old) Tegalus and created a personal union between Caledonia and Rand.
