The first words you will hear at the beginning of Half-Life, possibly the greatest and most influential game in it's genre, setting new standards and providing a platform for countless user-generated mods. Here's a video of the game's beginning, but seriously, your common knowledge has quite a hole in it if you don't know Half-Life!

I went on my first planespotting tour today, since Rob's recent shots made me want to do something similar. So at the moment, I don't care about trains, at least those that I see every day nowadays, and find planes awesome. Knowing that my audience consists mostly of railfans, and how un-popular most of my non-train shots turned out to be, I thought I'd so something rail related first: The SkyTrain, a top-suspended monorail that connects the terminals at the Düsseldorf Airport.
