Wasn't the entire purpose of the episode she was in not to show that griffins and ponies are just too different. Considering that horses are griffins are ponies natural predator, she showed a remarkable restraint.
Like the fox and the hound it was a friendship that was destined to break due to their respective nature.
Predator and prey cannot be friends, not in the long run.

Except the Lost Treasure of Griffonstone then showed that she DOES consider Dash a friend and while awkward they are best friends.

I'm not a fan, what makes thee think that I am a fan, I just watched a few episodes a few years back, but haven't seen it in a while.
And believe it or not, back when I was a very young man, the Simpson were actually a good animated show with interesting stories.

gravity falls was very good, it is a finished series that unlike most tv shows was structured like a classical 3 act play. I highly recommend that.
The venture bros. are brilliant, it is more open ended, but... it just have to be experienced.
Steven universe is also quite good.
If thou hastn't watched Avatar the last airbender, then it is also worth a watch, it is western but done in a manga stile, its sequal "the legend of korra" is not as good as the original, but some people like it, and I have certainly seen worse.
"Bojack horseman" is a must see. I cannot explain it, it have to be experienced. The only thing I will reveal is that it have full continuity which makes it the opposite of Simpsons (which I by the way don't recommend).

thou mean the three comics, the promise, the seach and the rift.
the first deals with the immediate aftermath, and how the fire nation colonies ended up being an independent republic, after Zuko realised that it was wrong to force people to leave a land they had lived on for generations.
It starts with an attempted assassination of a little to zealots young firenation girl. She is a citizen from her father but is herself an earthbender from her mother. That is what makes him realise that the old colonies are something unique, something that should not be destroyed.
the second book the promise, is zuko's seach for his long lost mother. Thou remember that everyone but a certain Earthbender had a life altering field trip with zuko. This is Zuko's own.
I havn't read the third book because I lost interest.
The Legend of Korra takes place about 80 years later. Katara is an old women with turtle neck, and Korra is the new Avatar from the Southen water tribe. She is, not the sage Aang was, by a long shot. It mostly takes place in Republican city which is 1920 like, with cars, gangsters and experimentation with movies.
Most people that likes the show point to the charecter Varrick, a watertribe non-bending business tycoon.
I especially hated the end of season 2. It had a Godzilla fight scene because it wanted to prove just how much more were at stake now then with Aang. It came off as bad and contrived as it sounds, and it didn't really get better from there.
Basically all of Korra's problems came from Korra's stupidity, and because she was the Avatar her stupidity affected everyone else too.
