Ok, when I first read that synopsis about 2 or 3 months ago....I raged. I raged hard. They are doing to Zombies (my one favorite Horror....genre) what Twilight did to Vampires.

I just.....

I mean.....just LOOK AT THAT MUTHER FUKIN TEASER POSTER [link] What... is he gonna dart up trees and sprint through forests in a shoddy CGI motion blur??

I was a sad face for a while. Goodbye flesh eating, eyeball gouging, blood drooling walking dead........Hello pretty, clean, slightly off-color teenage boy "zombies".

Then the trailer was released a few days ago, and all my fears seemed to just....vanish.

Goodbye imaginary serious, soppy, high school teenage zombie/human love story.

Hello quirky, dark comedy which KNOWS it's a silly premise and doesn't take itself seriously. I have high hopes for this movie as I did "Shaun Of The Dead" and "Zombieland". Hell, judging by some parts of the trailer, it might actually be a kick in the balls to the Twilight movies ("Don't be creepy, don't be creepy....")

Please don't let us down! Even if it does.....still a better love story than Twilight
