While we may not like our farite princess being a robot I actually think that Sally being a robot is an example of a good plot. It shows that unlike sonic team. Archie CAN write a story to save there lives.

I'd be willing to wager that when a nice round issue number rolls around Sally will make a dramatic move towards freedom or even become flesh and blood again.

what I don't like is the fact that Archie feel the need to keep there universe in line with the games. wasting comic space that could be better spent on there own, far superior story writing. the last two issies I bought were almost nothing more than game nodds. which I only bought because I have a standing order and couldn't say no.

They actually made it into a decent plot? At the time I was so irritated that they had to halt their progress to insert the "Generations" plot, so when they returned to the main story, I was already on my way out. I'm shocked to hear that she's still robotizised after all time. Usually they don't make a main character "bad" for more than 4 issues, but it's interesting that they've invested time into a robotizised Sally.

There was one occasion several years ago when they implied that Tails might turn against Sonic, but I was disappointed that the conflict was resolved in less than 2 issued, when it had so much potential.

Sally's been confirmed to be changed back, calm down.

I also find your signiture ironic, (which is demonizing Ian & Sega) 'cause if it weren't for Sega, and Ian helping the Sonic comic book continue, then Sally would be gone long ago, and forgotten if the comic wasn't still around.
I'd rather she be temporarily roboticized, then be gone, and forgotten.

There is a tiny change in the details there, they aren't bringing the original Sally back. Thanks to Sega's mandates, Sally, and possibly other characters are getting a redesign, to conform to the Sega standards.

Yeah, I don't really begrudge Sega for it, (assuming they are the cause for the redesigns) because I can understand them wanting the characters to look more like Sonic characters.

Sometimes it looked a li'l baffling when artists like Stephen Butler make Sally look like a 6-foot tall supermodel, next to Sonic, and his noodly-limbs. lol (Nothing against Butler's style. Sometimes I like seeing the characters drawn in different ways. I just hope they don't limit the art style to much to the Sega standards.)
