My friend Payne started a Final Fantasy table top RPG on campus. He invented the whole thing and, so far, it's pretty fun. I decided to play a White Mage... but I didn't want to be clichΓ©. So I made my character a snarky male white mage. (How different!) And this is the costume design I came up with for him... or at least the front view. I'm gonna get a back view later and on a separate image.Related content

Though I am a bit confused at the amount of shirt-like things he must wear. It must boil him.

Cool design! I love the pattern and color scheme. Very simple and straight forward, yet a decent amount of flare to not dull the visual. ^^

Thanks! A fair amount was taken from the original White Mage design for Final Fantasy Tactics. But Final Fantasy White Mages in general tend to be red and white.

OMG SEXAY! Two things though:
-What's a face?
-The boots look a little weird, maybe I'm just used to them having decorations or something, but they look a little plain to me.

WHAT is a face? Stupid question. Don't you mean 'where is it?' or something? And if that's what you meant, the drawing is a 'costume design'... the face is completely irrelevant. That's like writing a book about dogs and adding in a chapter about the breeding habits of white tailed deer. XD It's totally irrelevant. Funny thing about art---you get to leave things out that aren't important. In this case, it's not important.
Yes, the boots are plain. It's not for lack of imagination. MOST of the time they'd be covered by a robe. What's the point of investing in detailed fancy boots? They're just red boots, end of discussion. That's just what's under his robe that, I can assure you, rarely comes up in casual conversation.

Yeah. I figured a perky, female, young, huge-eyed, emotional female character would be just too clichΓ©! When you say 'white mage' everyone things girls, glitteries, and cuteness. So I do what I loved to do best---turned the tables. I made a snarky male white mage. He was 'forced' into the profession by his parents the way some people are forced into a medical career. XD It's fantastic!
