DescriptionFinally, submitting the last piece I created for the Charity Meme! I was posting full resolution images but, unfortunately, when opening the PSD that contained the full resolution for all of my Charity Meme pics, I noticed that. . . I must have accidentally flattened it at some point and I no longer have the full resolution for the pictures I haven't submitted yet. I am sorry for this but I hope it's alright with all of you that I post the "slightly larger but not really actually much bigger than from the meme" versions instead.This image is the 9th (final) one I drew and it is for AshasCadence of her character, Asha.

I have loved all of these canvas-like textured dragons!
If I may ask, do you use a brush or a filter to create the texture? Or mask+texture? I would love to be able to create similar textured effects in shadows but it's for grunge and metallic/metal textured subjects (armor, robots, BG etc.) and other subject specific textures to add more detail to them.

Oooh, such yummy textures and gorgeous shading and highlightings. I really love those deep shadows on the face and head. And that eye looks awesome, almost metallic or something. I really, really love the design on this one; the shape of the face and head is just so eye-pleasing. So kudos to the owner/designer for that, and kudos to you for making it look really cool.

The highlights and shades on horns and muzzle(which is also great and super cute) just rock. And such a nice expression, so calm and happy.
Another feast not only for the eye but also for the mind, Ashas cute expression inΒ mix with soft colors are cheering and calming.
