DescriptionI attempted to sketch this one on Friday but couldn't get the concept to work with me. I'm glad I took a break from it and came back later; although coloring in the black spaces took a long time, I'm very pleased with how this turned out. Played with the idea of a full mane on her here, whereas she normally does not have a mane on her shoulders. October 12th is featuring SashaWren 's namesake character, Wren! I hope you like her.

What gorgeous leafs, and interesting usage.
I adore how the lining stretches for and tangles into the mane, bringing forth the leafy crown that would otherwise have drowned in the many lines.
An excellent work of repetition, not to mention the slight alteration that ads a lot finer detail in the choice of leaf-shape.
