DescriptionEvery time I'm bored, I draw a dragon RAWRGHing from the side. I just reformatted my computer so I haven't been working on or submitting anything. I don't have my tablet at the moment so here's this. I drew it at A-kon in May while I was helping shirotsuki with her table!ΒDetailsMaterials.

I love these dragon sketches of yours. You have no idea how much it inspires my pitiful attempts at drawing dragons, seriously.
Oh and my bit of prospective critique.. maybe next time do it at an angle so we see more than a flat, half-sided face? Didn't think that belonged with the real critique section, but yeah. Iunno. Spice it up a bit by practicing other angles or whatever.

I had a feeling that would sound confusing.
The 'half-sided face' was probably
bad wording on my part. Generally when you see one side of the face like that, it can start to look flat. I guess that's what I was getting at with trying the different angles, not just up or down left or right. So we can see more of the face than the one side..? I hope that made more sense. Sorry~~

I especially adore that he has theeth outside of the---uhm...skin in the corner of the mouth. It looks absolutely cool!
At least he reminds me of a mixture between Kyo (the fins on his cheeck) and Shang (his hair looks like his and his horns too...just shorter)
But this mixture is absolutely cool!

Spiffy.
The crosshatching works well to bring the depth of the image. He/She/It appears to come out and then veer off to the right which is a cool effect. The perspective is very accurate. Your attention to detail is excellent (saliva, scale variations, hair, etc). Are those antlers?
You seriously can't have too many dragons of any shape or form. For many people (particularly adventurers, this being from an RPG perspecive) the first thing they see of a dragon is them RAWRing their way into someone's life. Regardless, their life will be more interesting now.
