My entry for the Villains contest [link] :3 Of course I waited till the last day to color it, haha.My (hapless) villain is Fsnz, who is throwing a fur seal into oblivion XD His job in hell is to toss whatever manages to make it over the lip back in (which I imagine is about as savory a job to a demon as going around scraping roadkill off the street would be to a person). On the plus side he really enjoys being mean to small cute animals... on the minus side, some animals have proven to be untossable!
Snowball & Fsnz are from my comic, Snowball in Hell (the second chapter of which is being worked on at the moment), and are (c) me

i feel like i've probably commented on this before, and if i have then here's another comment!
the background really gets me, it's amazing, so painted and flowing. the swoosh actually works with the baby seal's flight path. he deserved it anyways.
this was forever ago, but did you ever go through with the second chapter?

No. Every pic I do I try something new, even if its not the subject matter. In this case it was trying a different way of inking and painting, so it never gets stale.

really like what? What do you do different beside coloring and line work?
I'm suprized you haven't taken any writing classes those help you with storylines. (you are in college or high school)
I mean what's the point of drawing like this if you don't have any storylines or ideas. It seems most artist like you are like that,
and that is kind of strange and pointless for a career choice.

Well for example in this piece I used colored and cleaned digial lineart with a painted bg and fg, which I've never tried before. You can look through my gallery if you need to see the progression I've made, at the beginning of the year I was very novice at digital painting and now a few months later I am comfortable with it and am trying to expand my skills.
Haha, uh, you might want to do a bit more research before making statements like that? I'm 23, for one, I graduated from college 2 years ago. Also I am in the middle of writing/ drawing two comics, one of which is already at 200+ pages. Snowball is at 40 pages, but like I mentioned they are not online. My larger project already has a relatively large following despite the fact that it is a rough draft, and that is for both the story and art. I've spent the last 11 years working on the story and have done a fair amount of research to make my world and characters believable. A majority of the people who watch me do so for the fanart, but after them it is the group of people who are entertained and care about the story I've built as much as I do.

Haha, oh god, this is one of my favorite lines in the comic. "I'm gonna toss you so hard..." I reeeally love the colors in this. Awesome contrast between the warm and cool tones.
