Abel from Street Fighter IV! This makes 2 of the new SFIV characters finished so 4 more to go(El Fuerte, Rufus, Seth, Gouken).Started like 2 months ago but never finished till last week. Yeah, never posted it cuz I was busy at home all week long. Anyway, finished in around 7 hours working on it on and off. Used a direct-feed screenshot as a reference so the stance is pretty correct while I did a few changes.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with how he turned out. Only things bugging me is the hair color and "maybe" a few spots here and there.
Abel is from Street Fighter IV and belongs to Capcom.

Abel is indeed my favourite character and you done him 'down to a tea' I promise you... you don't need to worry about the hair colour and the bits and pieces.
Capcom would be proud of you.

Yeah, Abel is pretty awesome. He was my main but I'm playing El Fuerte more nowadays. I switch around and play them both though.

Thanks man! And yeah, HD 3rd Strike style sprites *drools* would've been awesome way to go but I still liked how it turned out in the end. Gonna do more SFIV sprites in the near future till I finish them all haha.

Yeah, it's a fun hobby and keeps me occupied. Back then, I used to get mad alot while making sprites but now I learned how to do them better and it's actually quite peaceful. Once you get the steps, it becomes a breeze to do.....a 6-9 hour breeze haha.

This is really good. This looks like Abel down to the stance and the details.
Don't try to be TOO obvious with the shadows, though. If you want it to look like a Capcom sprite, you have to make it more anime-esque. I see a mix of SNK and Capcom in Abel.

Thanks. And thanks for the tip man, seriously! I've always wondered why my style looks more like a mix of both Capcom and SNK's and wonder why it turns out that way. So more anime-esque huh? I guess I should look at more Capcom sprites and study how they are colored and try it more anime like.
