Process - [link]Project 5! And more strange things turning up here in this place. Also, I stumbled over a somewhat different approach to the digital coloring part of this process, one that relies way more heavily on the watercolor original, and not quite so much on steamrollering over it. I hope it helps freshen this illustration up a little bit!
Edit note - wow the thumbnail version of this looks really, really gross. is anyone else having this problem with their image uploads, or know any way to fix it?

I saw the process for this on Tumblr, and I must say I didn't realise this was a mixed media piece. It was wonderful seeing the process. As for the image itself it's beautiful it has a wonderful softness to it helped by the texture of the paper and watercolour, you've really got me inspired to try something like this out for myself!

I cant. I just keep falling in love with your stuff every time. xD I like this process too! I feel like there's less of the watercolor texture though (ironically). it may have something to do with your traditional and your digital painting styles being so similar.
