My latest artwork that I am hoping to submit for a contest.Drawn with 2b pencil and A4 printing paper.
Color edited in Photoshop CS4 Extended.

wow... your asking for a critique I think you already know this is pretty remarkable. But let me explain why this is so beautiful. The portrayal of the hair is so defined in movement, value, contrast and shape. Im sorry correction the hair, the flowers and the dress are rendered good. The sense of light in the picture is evident. The detail again is breathless, but the face and the arm are barely touched. Only hint of shadow is shown but that doesn't mean it was done on accident, theres so much detail in everything else the lack of value of the face is overlooked. Also the way you've mirrored the flowers and the hair and dress is clever. As the viewer i feel that comparing the girls innocence to a flower. Good concept!! I would go on but I'm sure your aware of how beautiful this is,

I agree! I think if there was a lot of detail in the arms and face and skin, it would be too much, because there is already a lot going on in the other regions of the composition. Beautifully done : ) I can't imagine how long all those tiny pen marks took!

Is this done in one pencil color or multiple? I mean I know what editing can do, but I've seen so many of this color blending I'm just real curious.
This is beautiful, just kinda wish she was a bit more "moving" than sleepy. Naw, who am I kidding, I can't complain with THIS!!

It's done with one type of pencil. Most of my works are done with one type of pencil or mechanical pencil.
I'm trying to use 2 types of pencil now but still seems to like using one for some reason. @.@

oh no. what i meant was I used just regular 2b pencil. The artwork is originally in black and white. I edited the color in photoshop.

I love the flourish elements and toning of colors. Her wavy hair stretch gently to the point that her face is looking to the front is so sexy. She's kinda floating from bushes of flowers...
