Personality: Though Boss is a true king here at Shock Therapy Stables with his impeccable conformation and his beautiful coloration, he is a laid-back gracious ruler. Though confident and assertive enough to defend himself when cornered, generally Boss is a peace keeper, casual and easy going with a cheerful unflappable attitude. He just sort of ambles around, checking on things and making sure everyone is happy and having a good day before finding himself a nice patch of sun to nap in. He gets along with almost everybody though he can be a bit challenging with other males. With females and pups though he is an absolute gentleman and seems to have no animal aggression or serious prey drive, our cats curl up in bed with him all of the time. Amiable and aggreeable, he's a breeze to work with, he'll do whatever his handlers ask of him and is not really afraid of or skittish about anything, he'll barrel into any activity, even if it's the first time he's ever done it. He's a bit of a goofball, clumsy and playful he has a tendency to ham it up for the crowd rather than trying to perform competatively at shows. But he's a big strong guy, weight pull is a breeze for him and he loves a good game of tug of war so doing that for a crowd is just his cup of tea. Though he's not really our smartest dog and tends to be rather daft when it comes to learning tricks, he has learned and absolutely loves to fetch the mail from the mailman in the afternoon. If there is no mail, the mailman is always kind enough to give him an empty envelope or paper slip addressed to 'the Boss'.
