Every character started out as a Mary-Su or Gary-Stu on paper, I guess you can say they're the building blocks for any good character. We all start some where. As long as there's character development then it's okay as long as they don't stay that way forever. I'm pretty sure this stamp is just being sarcastic, but there is some truth in it if you look for it.

Why would people even remotely support Gary Stu's and Mary Sue's? I mean, seriously. They feel that their characters are the greatest things ever made. And not all anime main characters are Mary Sues/Gary Stu's.
