OK I know this has been brought up a lot already, but since his mother is technically a Disney princess….. does this mean Kylo Ren = actual Disney prince Ben Organa-Solo ?? ?
it helps that his lightsaber also looks like an (evil) princely sword, haha
(but seriously, I really really loved Kylo Ren's character – I was expecting to probably like him, but was not prepared for just HOW MUCH after watching TFA. what a great villain, two thumbs up

He should have been a Skywalker. His story would have been interesting to follow, and Star Wars has always been about the Skywalkers. Like how the Clone Wars/ Prequels were almost as much of Obi-wan as it was Anakin.
Not to mention Rey is too perfect and not whiny enough for a Skywalker.

He is technically a Skywalker, though. He might not have the name but he has the blood. As for Rey? Well, that remains to be seen. I think she's a Kenobi, personally.

That would imply Kenobi F*ked Satine at some point... which would also go against the jedi code, which he was hugely dedicated to.
On the other had, he's done a few hypocritical things before, so it's not impossible.

But at the beginning of episode three he said he 'was once' a Jedi meaning that he no longer considers himself one? It could have been possible for him to father a child in all those years in exile who then went on to have Rey. Then Rey and and Kylo's relationship would echo their grandfathers which would be pretty cool.
I dunno, maybe it's just wishful thinking.

I doubt it, Luke met Obi Wan quite a few times before Ep4, he would have known if Kenobi had offspring at the time.
He was "once" a jedi, as in he doesn't use his jedi powers anymore, and the Jedi order is dead, so being a "jedi" is an unofficial title, so he can't be a jedi.
It would be a nice twist, and it's not impossible for Kenobi to have offspring.
It's better than Rey Skywalker, though.
