I’m still recovering from the awesomeness that was the Vanity Fair photoshoot for The Force Awakens, and I'm really really into Kylo Ren’s character design.
It was also a nice surprise to see him without the mask before the movie (and have Adam Driver *surprise* confirmed to be playing him!)This turned out a bit random and moody, but he DOES look like evil space Jon Snow so....

I really hate Kylo for what he did to Han but I like him at the same time. Although we still have two more movies to come by though in a few years. Other than that, this is a very awesome drawing! It really captures the complexity of him. Keep up the good work!

I love this character. Especially his mood swings / temper tantrums XD
My sister was disappointed because he apparently wasn't as badass as Darth Vader. I thought he was a much more complex character with obvious emotional tension, whereas Darth Vader is just Luke's weird father. I like Darth Vader, he's actually my favourite character of the old movies, but I think Kylo Ren was way more interesting, without the need for some intense plot twist to grab your attention. He's also really funny.

Yeah, I completely agree with all of this! He complexity and the emotion you could see was what made him such a great villain and character, he's now one of my favourite characters too

I think Kylo Ren was a lot like Anakin was when he was younger but with a better actor playing him. He's lost, confused, angry probably severely mentally ill and manipulated by someone far more evil and powerful than him like Anakin was. It made so much sense when it turned out he was Han and Leia son and Anakin's Grandson because it explains why he's so much like Anakin was. I find it interesting that he wants to be like Vader was even though I'm sure Anakin wouldn't want his grandson to be like he was and make the same mistakes he did. I hope Anakin's ghost knocks some sense into grandson in the next movie.

Same here! I was surprised, but he seriously became my favourite in just one movie. (it's some damn good writing and that performance by Adam Driver was A+)

he seems more human than the others, more flawed. If you want a good on the hero you need a good villain.
