The title was inspired by the song 10,000 Miles by Mary Chapin Carpenter (:

This is the main collab art to the RP "Fare Thee Well" of Tattered-Dreams and me (:
She did the wonderful sketch and lineart, and I printed and coloured it.
Just look how stunning the scenery and poses are built up - it was such a pleasure to colour a picture like that! ♥ Please shower Tatty in bacon and love for that!! Do it! I know you want it!

Um - the RP's were awesome (please, please, please let these two meet up again), but this image is just....  I can't even describe how utterly awesome this is.  The colors, the scenery, the textures... I just want to stare at it over and over again.  

I think this might literally be my favorite Fawnling RP image to date!

You guys did a phenomenal job and need to give yourself major kudos.

I honestly don't think I can give this enough praise.

The lines are beautiful - both fawnlings look just adorable, and their peaceful expressions really help set the mood. I really like Rue's feet and tail just touching the water, and the nose smooch The background is lovely, too - the trees and the clouds in particular are awesome!

The colouring is just as wonderful. The colours in the water, especially, are beautiful, and the water itself is so well coloured. The long shadows and darkened sky do a great job of setting the atmosphere without needing to actually show the setting sun. The leaves on the trees are just another sign that Spring is coming!

Well done to both of you. This is gorgeous.
