So WindFlowerGirl and me, we went to this fantastic, beautiful, awesome, not-to-be-described-with-words park today, and we ended up sitting at her favourite places and sketching. (:While I was doing, like, boring landscape studies, she drew much more exciting stuff x'D

I really like this one, though.. x3 the lighting was so beautiful!
I just couldn't do it justice with a small sketch like that - there even was the Danube visible *-* (where I live, the same river is only 5 metres wide - here, about 200. so magical. I can't stop marvelling at it °u°)
we're having lots of fun here

Oh my godness the most epic meet! Hi girls!
Sketches in park are awesooome, about two weeks ago I was in park in centre of my city,
where flows the river - Słupia (from Słupsk - my city) and I was drawing. It was one of the
best thing I've done last time, I didn't sit on a bench but on stone, old stairs right on the river,
for better inspitation of course haha and it was just fantastic thing! *.*
I envy you both! I can't wait to see more of your works together, my dears!

Wow; I really love this. Its such a beautiful, serene landscape image. Something about rendered art in just shades of grey I find so poignant - they just have a touch of something special and meaningful where sometimes colouring loses that. This is a perfect example. I just love how much texture and depth you've worked into this while keeping a loose, unfussy feel to it

I totally agree! though I often fail to capture this special feeling in pencil art, I'm still much more comfortable with colours (:
