Both Jack Rye and Sheridan are my creations. Yay.

After having a coloured picture of Sheridan, I simply had to put the daring duo together. These two are going to be a lot of fun to work with, and when I say fun, I mean funny.

A little inside scoop the relation between these characters. It's been 9 years since they both separated. Time tends to have certain effects on people, they mature physically, mentally, and all sorts of things.
After being reunited Jack thinks things will be just like the good old days, wrestling in the mud, hunting together just like his dad taught them and enjoying the great outdoors. Jack is very happy to be back with his friend and acts as laid back as he always does.

Sheridan on the other hand is far more aware of changes that they've gone through, she's a woman now and is more true to her instincts than her dear friend Jack. Unable to speak she manages to communicate through body language and charades (remember playing that game?). Finally having found Jack Sheri is very protective of him, and tries not to let him out of her sight. It's almost suffocating for poor human.

A lot goes on between these two throughout their adventure. It's not enough for a mere adventure in Felarya for me. Character development is something that really spices up a journey for the heroes. Seeing internal struggles (not emo ones, I hate emo) inside the mind of characters is what may really give a good kick to a story.

I wanted to show how the two mix so well even if they are fairly different. I was going to have Sheri cover her lower mid section with the end of her tail, but my sister mentioned having Jack cover her with his hat. I got a good laugh out of that. Shows how the two look out for each other.
Anyways this comment is waaaaaaaay too long for one pic.

On an artists note, I was waiting to do my exam when I quickly sketched up the concept to this picture. Since all my exams were over once I finished my last one, I developed the concept and simply coloured it really quickly.
Since I couldn't think up a proper background, I simply used a red and black gradient. The red hair on Jack and worn black shirt of his somewhat compliments the black and red on Sheridan. At least that's how I find it.
