A digital painting I did for a little drawing contest between me and a friend
I work hard and long on it, but I'm not sure if I really like the outcome. I mean, it's nice and all, but I really need to do some proper studies on light, colour, background etc etc. So I'll be spending what little freetime university leaves me on that, I think

Anyway, the contest subject was ' a group of at least 3 humans'. I kinda cheated, considering they look like they're from an RPG game or something, but hey, at least they can be defined as human...Ah, and while drawing, I dubbed them Jake, Shaina and Lanir, from front to back So now I guess they're official OC's, though I do not intend to use them for anything else, probably. Although Jake does look a lot like Zaccai, a character from a fantasy novel I'm working on (yeah, you can expect that to be published in about 25 years, I've had the idea lying around for a long time, and after adapting it a lot, I really like it, the writing just goes really slow. Not to mention the tiny chances of me finding a publisher...) I might do some character profiles, gives me some fun AND good photoshop/portraiture practice

Well, that was all, I'll go back to my neglected math book...T_T
