...Bit late of a late submission, thanks to a broken network adapter. But, here's the third in my Literary Character Inktober run!

This time it's Simon from William Golding's Lord of the Flies. Now a lot of the novels on my Inktober list mean a lot to me, but few of them made as much of an impression reading them as Lord of the Flies did. One of the few stories in existence that make proper use of a deus ex machina, too. I thought of this composition before deciding which character to draw, and was considering Ralph or Piggy, but in the end, Simon's scenes are most memorable to me, so there you go.
