Fifth Inktober submission following my Literary Character theme - Sabriel, from The Abhorsen Chronicles by Garth Nix. I have no clue how well or little known this series is, but I'd recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy but wants something a little different from your prototypical orphaned-farm-boy-to-epic-warrior sword & sorcery story. Particularly if you like strong female protagonists without the novel screaming Girl Power!!1! in your face. Garth Nix's world is unique and accessible, with an interesting take on magic and particularly necromancy, a branch of magic that, to my knowledge, isn't frequently explored beyond the stereotypical warlock in his dark dungeon of death, doom, and despair sorry, alliteration is fun

Also, I'll probably have to take a break from daily submissions for a bit, as I'll be travelling for the next few days. Hope to catch up on Inktober early next week!
