Thank you for making Claire, I thought she was very interesting! She and Quackerjack are my #1 DW OTP!

I only now find out that you created the look of the inventor and Claire and I have to say you did a great job on them both.Β
I also don't get the Claire controversy. I found her to be an interesting character that brought a cool new angle to Quackerjack. This was one of the deeper stories of the comic series that left me stunned at the end.

I could so imagine Claire talking quackerjack out of crime and becoming a good guy, you know like what they did in teen titans with jinx.

For a minute there I thought that was Gosaline! I have been out of touch with DWD for so long. Excellent work!Β

I know you get this a lot, but is there a process in photoshop that you go about getting your panels perfect? Β I've tried different methods before and never really succeeded. Β Also was the lineart done in PS, or was that hand drawn? Β Loved this comic btw! Β You did such a great job capturing the characters in it.

I bought the comic and read this story - I must say, it's an incredible story with surprising depth. If only the Joker had such insight...

So she's Claire...for a minute, I thought DW and LP had been brought to the future and met an adult Gosalyn.

Seems as if the story has already been released? If so I haven't read it yet, probably it won't be available in German, I guess. Anyway, I'm going to order it ( in English)- because you convinced me.
When I first read that Quackerjack has/had a girlfriend, I could not believe that it would work, trying to imagine a woman (duck?) that wouldn't look ridiculous next a weird buck-teethed jester ( no offense, of course, he's my favourite..)...
However, Claire so amazingly sweet, self-confident (5th panel! haha ) and lively that I am REALLY looking forward to reading it.
(Now hate me, Megavolt/Quackerjack-Fans I am sorry.)

"I did not understand well the end (mostly, I do not argue with English), but at the end of the comic, QuakerJack die or not?
PS: The picture of the comic and the script is flawless, it's like to watch the series again just with new chapters.

Thank you so much for the kind words!
As for the ending, I guess he KIND of "killed" himself...I'm sure he could be turned back normal eventually....not sure where the writer will go with it!

oh man, i gotta tell you, i think you did a better job than mr. silvani with all those characters. i mean, no disrespect to him, and maybe it's your style, but i just feel like you dipped more into the "essence" of the charactes. they somehow feel more like the original darkwing. it seems like you have a greater knowledge of those characters (from childhood maybe), which reflects in the way the are drawn, they almost bounce out of the page, as alive as in the series.
i hope you get to do more interior pages over time, i absolutely love what you did! big respect!

Did you just rough out the page with a color pencil on the final page, or did you rough it out on a separate sheet of paper, and trace it onto the actual page to ink in later?
