Wow, I really love how you tie in the designs with your pictures; it's not just the generic things that you always see in peoples' Celtic knots around here, but the way you connect them seems a lot more creative than most people. ^^
And the trescele in the womb and the swirls around her body really make it more pleasing to look at - I love it, it's not just straight knotwork and the variation makes it a lot more interesting. ^^

The style of knotwork in this piece is directly inspired by the way human and animal figures are handled in the Medieval and ancient knotwork of Ireland and Scotland. Most times the figures are part of the knotwork design, with their shapes defined by knotwork designs. It is a much more challenging way to create the designs, but very rewarding.
