I'd be tempted to say that Snapecast has ruined my scholarly life as I stay up so late listening to it that I'm too tired to hear my alrm in the morning and miss all my lectures, except that finding Snapecast could possibly be the best thing that's ever happened in my life. Ever.

I know... Whenever a new Snapecast is out, my first reaction is that I really haven't got the time to listen to it. But I find that I'll gladly skip a television programme or two in its favour, and after listening I always think that it's time well-spent

This is the most amazing drawing...... very Aubrey Beardsley but with less frills and more aggression. I can see why you were scared to muck up by starting to add watercolours - I'd have been terrified - but it worked out perfectly. The brickwork really says 'dungeon' without distracting from Snape. Such atmosphere.
And that outfit! And those boots! Phew! Even though I don't really see a guy who can't even be bothered with personal hygiene of the hair wearing such hot boots, in this picture they really say 'I am the Snake King of the Dungeon and you all are just squirmy worms'.
It just shows - there are so many on DeviantArt using such high technology gizmos, and I get jealous sometimes, but you are making blow-my-head off images using just felt tips and one shade of watercolour!

I am no good with either colours or computers, but whenever I feel unhappy about that, I think of Aubrey Breadsley (I just swooned at the comparison, LOL - FAR too much honour), a man who created absolutely stunning art without all our modern 'gizmos'. I can never hope to be as original in my designs as he was, but I do try to take him for my example without actually imitating him.
LOL about the boots - I agree, I can't see Snape spending hours looking for the perfect pair of Italian boots; but I do think he'd favour something pointy that he can use to kick people, animals and things

You do an amazing job with bricks and stones with watercolors. I'm totally impressed. And then, of course, there's Snape himself. I love his pointy shoes and all the buttons on his robes; he looks very Victorian.

I like it. The background clearly suggests the dungeon without distracting from the figure. And a really cool figure it is with a well-styled robe, and yes, really cool shoes.
Unfortunately for me, most shoes I've seen made like that are way too big for me, unless they are true antiques.
