Yeah, draw a picture, vector it, eat a banana. My idea for a non-chibi Mega Man. I realized *AFTER vectoring it how much it looked like the Halo dude.... **sigh** not my intent. Either way, I thought it would be cool to make a more futuristic Mega Man. Whatever, I'm dropping the original sketch into my scraps.-Josh

Mega Man's not chibi, he's 9. Mega Man is designed to look like a 9 year old boy.

I didn't actually make a connection between this Mega Man and Master Chief until you mentioned it.
If you're unsatisfied with it, try again. I can't speak for anyone else, but I like it as is right now and seeing another version would be great. The sole piece of advice I can really give as a non-artist is try to further stylize him to distinguish him from MC. Perhaps a faction marking, or maybe a few subtle permanate dents, scratches, and oil stains from previous battles.
The design you've got right now is pretty good. I like the Mega Buster in particular, though it looks proportionally too small.

I wouldn't beat myself up over having something of yours resemble Master Chief (who's basically a streamlined mold of everyone else).
Anyhoo, that's a fairly cool, streamlined re-design you got there.

The only constructive criticism I could possibly give here would be to shorten the height of the torso just a wee-bit. Other than that, it's pretty much flawless.
