Yet another still life from one of my college drawing classes a few years back. This is one that I set up and drew in my apartment. If you look closely at the lamp, you can see my reflection.

Thank you! I can't recall how long it took, at least several hours. I tend to be a slower worker as it is.
Your still life looks pretty good, too. The shading definitely looks nice. If you're asking for help, the only thing I could suggest is the line weight looks a little too heavy in certain places, like the edges of the polygon that's resting on the box. I would think that they aren't that hard.

Great still life here...that'll learn ya how to use darks in a picture.

It's interesting to work backwards, dark to light rather than adding dark. I definitely recommend doing at least one.
